Certo Management Services was founded in July 2020 by Stephen Roche. Peter McIlhagger joined in August 2020, and Jeff Day in December that year.

Stephen and Jeff have for some years been keen to establish an independent project management consultancy that was of an appropriate size to be able to provide client-focused delivery of large complex projects through a senior personnel hands-on approach.

Certo has been established to provide project management consultancy on project delivery through trust, commitment, loyalty and the application of hard-won experience.

The Directors of the firm have between them close to 100 years of experience in the industry, most of it gained through working for large practices: Stephen and Jeff as Partners of Gardiner & Theobald LLP and Peter as a Director at Mace, Paragon and Abacus.

Their experience covers a multitude of sectors, including: high rise residential, commercial offices, retail, leisure, education, infrastructure and town centre regeneration. As a result of the Grenfell tragedy the team has also developed expertise in the recladding of high-rise residential buildings.
